Add custom fields to the partner sign-up form

Ask partners extra questions when they sign up, such as their website or audience size.

Written by Nick

Custom fields add your own questions to the partner sign-up form, such as where a partner will promote you or how big their audience is. Their answers show on their partner profile, so you can qualify partners before you approve them.

Add a custom field

  1. Go to Program settings › Custom fields.

  2. Switch on Show custom fields in the partner sign-up flow.

  3. Click Add field and choose the type:

Custom fields tab with the Add field menu open showing Single answer, Multiple answers and Option selection
    • Single answer: a text answer.

    • Multiple answers: partners pick one or more options.

    • Option selection: partners pick one option from a dropdown.

  4. Under Available for all or a specific group, choose who sees the field.

  5. Write the question and, optionally, a placeholder that shows an example answer.

  6. Switch on Is this field required? if partners must answer it.

  7. Click Create field.

The field appears on the sign-up form for the partners you chose. Required fields are marked with *.

See partners' answers

Go to Partners and open a partner's profile. Their answers are under Partner details.

Good to know

  • There's no limit on the number of custom fields.

  • Showing a field to one group only is useful when groups sign up through their own link. See Partner groups.
