Partner groups

Group partners so each group gets its own commissions, sign-up link, description and settings.

Written by Nick

Partner groups let you treat different kinds of partners differently. Each group has its own commissions, sign-up link and portal description, and can be public or private. A group can hold many partners or just one.

For example, you could pay influencers 30% in a private group that you approve by hand, while everyone else joins a public group at 20%.

Create a group

Your first group is created with your program and is your default group. Partners who sign up through your main portal link join it.

  1. Go to Program settings › Partner groups.

Partner groups list with a private Influencers group highlighted
  2. Click Create group.

  3. Enter a Group name and a Description. The description is what partners see on the portal's sign-up screen.

  4. Set the optional settings you need:

    • Make group private: you approve each partner who signs up to this group.

    • Website URL: where this group's links send people, if not your program's website.

    • Group coupon code: a coupon code shown only to this group.

  5. Save the group.

The number of groups you can create depends on your plan: up to 3 on Basic, up to 5 on Growth and unlimited on Pro.

Set each group's commissions

Commissions are set with flows. Create a flow for the group and set its rates, products and time limits. See What are flows.

Add partners to a group

  • Sign-up link: each group has its own. Partners who sign up through it join the group and see its description.

  • Invite: pick the group when you invite partners. See Invite a partner.

  • Move partners: on Partners, select them and click Change group, or change Partner group on a partner's profile.
