Blocking commissions from social media lets you control where commissions can be earned. Use this setting to prevent commissions from being generated through specific social platforms and ensure partners follow your program guidelines.
If partners promote your program on social media, they may share affiliate links in ways that don’t align with your guidelines, for example through boosted posts, paid promotions, or restricted platforms.

In some cases, these promotions can generate commissions from traffic you didn’t intend to reward, or from campaigns you’re already running yourself.

  1. Navigate to Program Settings → Marketing and tracking.

  2. Click the Manage social media button.

  3. In the pop-up, from the Social media platforms dropdown, select the medium/media you want.

Note: Tolt allows you to block commissions from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Linkedin, Reddit, and/or X.

  4. Click Save changes.

    Tolt updates the program.

Note: You can remove the restrictions at any time.
