Ask custom questions on the application form

Ask partners your own questions when they apply, such as where they'll promote you or how big their audience is.

Written by Nick

Custom questions add your own questions to the partner application form, such as where a partner will promote you or how big their audience is. Partners answer them after their name, email, company and country, and the answers show on their profile, so you can qualify partners before you approve them.

Add a question

  1. Go to Program settings › Sign-up.

  2. Under Application form, switch on Ask custom questions.

Application form card with Ask custom questions switched on and two questions added
  3. Click Add question and choose the answer type:

    • Text: partners type an answer.

    • Single choice: partners pick one option.

    • Multiple choice: partners pick one or more options.

  4. Enter the Question. For a choice question, add the Options.

New question dialog with a single choice question and two options
  5. Switch on Required if partners can't apply without answering.

  6. Under Ask partners who join, choose Any group or one group.

  7. Click Save question.

The question appears on the application form for the partners you chose. To check it, click Preview form.

See partners' answers

Go to Partners and open a partner's profile. Their answers are with their partner details.

Good to know

  • Partners only see your questions while Ask custom questions is on. Turning it off keeps the questions for later.

  • Asking one group only is useful when groups sign up through their own link. See Partner groups.

  • To edit a question, click Edit next to it.
