Block specific parameter keywords

Stop partners from using keywords you don't allow, such as coupon, in links they create.

Written by Nick

Block keywords to stop partners from using words you don't allow in the links they create themselves. For example, block coupon and discount if partners shouldn't promote you as a deal. This setting is part of Radar, Tolt's fraud protection.

Available on Pro and Enterprise plans.

  1. Go to Program settings › Tracking & safeguards.

  2. Under Attribution tracking, click the pencil next to Block specific parameter keywords.

  3. Under Keywords, enter the keywords to block. Separate them with commas, or press Enter after each one.

Blocked Keywords dialog with coupon and discount added
  4. Click Save keywords.

Partners can no longer add the blocked keywords to links they create in their partner portal.

Good to know

  • The setting only matters while partners can create their own links. To stop them creating links at all, see Disable personalized links for partners.

  • You can block up to 50 keywords.

  • To remove every keyword at once, click Clear all.
