Upload payouts from a CSV file

Record payouts you've made outside Tolt by uploading a CSV file.

Written by Nick

If you pay partners outside Tolt, upload a CSV file to record those payouts in Tolt in one go, instead of adding them one by one.

Before you start

Create a CSV file with the headers email, amount and date, in that order, and one row per payout:

email,amount,date
[email protected],120.00,2026-10-1
[email protected],45.50,2026-10-15
  • email: the partner's email in Tolt.

  • amount: the payout amount as a number, without a currency symbol.

  • date: the date of the payout as year-month-day (YYYY-M-D), such as 2026-10-1.

You can separate the columns with commas or semicolons.

Upload the file

  1. Select the program in the program switcher at the top left. The payouts are added to that program.

  2. Go to Payouts and click Upload payouts.

  3. Click Choose File and select your CSV file.

  4. Check the rows in the preview table.

  5. Click Generate payouts.

Tolt shows Payouts created successfully, and the payouts appear on the Pending tab of Payouts.

Good to know

  • To move the uploaded payouts to the Paid tab, mark them as paid. See Pay partners manually.

  • If the headers don't match, Tolt shows Invalid CSV headers and nothing is uploaded. Check that the first row is exactly email, amount, date.

  • Uploading payouts doesn't send any money. To have Tolt pay partners for you, see How auto-payouts work.
