There are five types of statuses in Tolt: active, trial, lead, canceled, and suspended.

Each customer is assigned a status based on their journey in your program. Understanding these statuses helps you manage referrals and track their progress.

Here’s what each status means.

Status

Description

Lead

The customer has signed up but hasn't made a purchase or started a trial or subscription. Leads are users who have shown interest but haven't yet committed.

Active

The customer made a purchase and their subscription has begun. This typically happens after they’ve moved past a trial or immediately upon purchase.

Trial

The customer has signed up through your payment provider and begun a free trial period. Once their trial ends and the payment is successfully processed, they will automatically be converted to Active.

Canceled

The customer has canceled their subscription.

Tolt will no longer track the referral unless the subscription is reactivated. As an admin, you can also manually cancel referrals if they are fraudulent.

Suspended

The customer's subscription is temporarily paused, either due to non-payment or for another reason. Once resolved, the customer can be reactivated or moved to Canceled if the issue persists.
