Block ad platforms to stop partners from earning commissions on traffic from paid ads. This setting is part of Radar, Tolt's fraud protection.
Available on Pro and Enterprise plans.
Partners who run ads on Google, for example, can end up bidding on the same keywords as you. A customer who would have come through your own ads then earns the partner a commission, and your ad costs go up.
Go to Program settings › Tracking & safeguards.
Under Referral safeguards, click the pencil next to Block commissions from ad platforms.
Under Ad platforms, select the platforms to block: Google, Bing or YouTube.
Optionally, select Auto-suspend partners if ad commissions are detected to suspend partners when a commission from a blocked platform comes in.
Click Next.
Choose what happens to existing commissions:
Yes, backtrack: Tolt re-checks all unpaid commissions and flags any that came from the platforms you selected.
Skip: the block applies to new commissions only.
From then on, Tolt blocks commissions on traffic from the platforms you selected.
