Payout statuses

What each payout status means and where a payout is in the payment process.

Written by Nick

Each payout has a status that shows whether it can be paid and where it is in the process. Unpaid payouts are on the Pending tab of Payouts, and paid ones are on the Paid tab.

Payouts with the Pending, Not eligible, Awaiting invoice payment, Processing payout and Failed statuses

Status

What it means

Pending

Ready to be paid. With auto-payouts, it goes into the next invoice, or into an off-cycle invoice if you create one.

Not eligible

The partner hasn't completed their tax form or added a payout method. Once they do, the payout becomes Pending.

Awaiting invoice payment

Auto-payouts only. The payout is in an invoice that hasn't been paid yet.

Processing payout

The payment to the partner is on its way. With manual payouts, you set this yourself with Mark as › Processing.

Failed

Auto-payouts only. The transfer didn't go through, usually because the partner's payout details are wrong. Tolt asks the partner to update them so the payout can be sent again.

Paid

The partner has been paid. The payout moves to the Paid tab, and its commissions can no longer be changed.
