Flows in Tolt allow you to set up automated commission rules, you full control over how commissions are applied to different plans, partners, and events.
With flows, you can easily adjust commission rates based on specific criteria, like setting a 20% commission for the Starter plan and a 15% commission for the Pro plan, or create unique rates for individual partners or groups to meet your program's needs.
Each flow consists of four steps that guide you through setting up triggers, actions, and conditions to automate your commission structure.

Step 1: General details
Enter the essential information about the flow:
Flow name: Give your flow a name that clearly describes its purpose.
Flow description and Partner group: Add a description and optionally assign the flow to a specific partner group. By default, the flow applies to the default group, but selecting a specific group lets you tailor commissions for different partner segments.
Step 2: Set the flow trigger
This step defines when the flow will activate:
New Payment - triggers when a referred customer completes a payment, including subscription renewals.
New Signup - triggers when a referred customer signs up.
Step 3: Define the flow action
Here, you’ll specify what action the flow will execute when it’s triggered:
Choose the action: Choose to issue a commission or switch a partner's group.
Commission setup:
Commission type: Choose percentage-based or a fixed rate. You can set program-wide rates or custom commissions for specific partners, plans, or groups, all within the same flow.
You can also control how commissions are approved: automatically upon conversion, automatically after a set number of days, or manually.

Step 4: Add additional conditions (optional)
In the final step, add conditions to control exactly when commissions apply based on partner attributes, customer activity, or transaction details.
