A commission is what a partner earns from a customer they referred. Tolt creates commissions automatically from your flows, and you can also create them by hand.
How a commission is created
A customer that a partner referred pays, and Tolt records the payment as a transaction.
Tolt runs your program's flows on the transaction.
Each flow whose conditions match creates a commission at that flow's rate, such as 20% of the payment.
For example, a flow can pay 20% on your Starter plan and 15% on your Pro plan, or only pay once a payment is over $50. See What are flows?
From pending to paid
A new commission is Pending or Approved, depending on the flow's approval option. See Approve commissions automatically or manually.
Approved commissions go into the partner's next payout. See What are payouts?
Once the payout is paid, the commission is paid out and can no longer be changed.
For every status, see Commission statuses.

The Commissions tab on a partner's or customer's profile lists only theirs.
